Strong winds fanned a fire that destroyed a residence on Bayview Rd. in Nobleboro Thursday afternoon, according to a reporter for The Lincoln County News who was at the scene.
The fire was brought down quickly by firefighters from Nobleboro, Newcastle, Bristol and Damariscotta. They were assisted by deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and rescue personnel with Central Lincoln County Ambulance.
No injuries were reported to either residents or firefighters.
