A former Bristol resident who allegedly broke her husband’s leg by ramming him with her car pleaded guilty to reckless conduct and served four days in jail.
Deirdre Albert, 40, of Windsor, originally faced felony charges of aggravated assault and domestic violence reckless conduct. She pleaded guilty to reckless conduct, a misdemeanor.
Justice Jeffrey Hjelm sentenced Albert to 180 days in jail with all but four days suspended and a year of probation.
According to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office report, Albert admitted that she hit her husband with her car during an argument at a friend’s house in South Bristol.
The impact threw the man onto the hood of Albert’s vehicle and, subsequently, onto the ground, according to the report.
