Mary Helen Ginnaty, 33, of Bremen, pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to the Class C charge of terrorizing. Three other charges were dismissed.
According to court documents, Mary Helen Ginnaty was accused of domestic violence assault against her sister Erin Ginnaty.
She was also charged with assault on an officer and terrorizing after police said she allegedly caused bodily injury to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Collamore while he was performing his duties.
Court documents state that Ginnaty threatened Collamore with murder. She was also accused of using force or intimidation to prevent Erin Ginnaty from reporting her crime.
The incidents were said to have occurred June 21 at the home the sisters shared in Bremen.
The Class D charges of assault, assault on an officer and obstructing the report of a crime or injury were dismissed.
Ginnaty was convicted on a charge of disorderly conduct, but no fine and no jail time was given. She was released on her own recognizance and will undergo substance abuse and mental health evaluations.
Sentencing was deferred until Dec. 5, 2013.
