Cory J. Hanna and Nancy M. Adams are very pleased to announce their marriage. The small civil service was held May 1 at the Old Walpole Meeting House in South Bristol.
They are so proud to be “legally married” in the beautiful State of Maine, and extend a heartfelt thank you to all Maine voters, who helped to make their union possible. One cannot imagine after 33 years together just how important it is.
Cory grew up in Round Pond, and is the daughter of the late William David Hanna and Carolyn J. Hanna currently of Rockport, Mass.
Nancy is the daughter of the late Edward Dean Adams and Eleanor P. Adams of South Bristol. Cory and Nancy met while both attending Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, where they currently make their home.
Nancy works as a computer consultant in the Midcoast specializing in Apple products, while Cory will forever be working on their home and dealing in her passion for antique furniture, rare books, and art.
It was a near perfect spring day, abundant sunshine and mild temperatures. A superb luncheon was held after the ceremony at the Damariscotta River Grill. A wedding celebration is planned for mid-summer.
