The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency has designated a single telephone number for use by any Lincoln County resident in need of warming during the current wave of power outages. That telephone number is 882-7332, according to Tod Hartung of the LCEMA. Communications officers at the Lincoln County Communications Center will answer the number and refer callers to the appropriate resource, Hartung said.
“We’re hoping that after power restoration work occurs today, we won’t need the warming resources any longer,” Hartung said, citing estimates from Central Maine Power that electricity should be restored to most households by the end of the day on Thursday.
