Sen. Chris Johnson, D-Somerville, is claiming victory in his bid for re-election to the District 20 seat in the Maine Senate.
Johnson said he and his supporters calculated his margin of victory at 97 votes.
The Lincoln County News is continuing to tabulate returns in this race.
Newcastle Democrat Mick Devin, meanwhile, won the District 51 House seat by just 82 votes, defeating Damariscotta Republican Buzz Pinkham.
