A joint meeting between the Waldoboro Board of Selectmen and Budget Committee has been rescheduled from the original date to July 18 at 6 p.m. The meeting will focus on recent changes made to the proposed FY 2014 budget.
July 18 is a change from a previously announced date.
According to Waldoboro Town Manager John Spear, Craig Cooley, the chairman of the board of selectmen directed Spear to reschedule the meeting as two of the town’s five selectmen will be unavailable to meet on the original date July 23, which would be a regularly scheduled meeting night for the selectmen.
According to a posting on the Town of Waldoboro’s website, as of now there is a possibility the July 23 selectmen’s meeting will be cancelled.
