Jordan and Anna Newbert announce the birth of a son, Jonah Merton Newbert, born Aug. 7 at Midcoast Hospital, Brunswick. Also celebrating the arrival are grandparents M. Gary and Andrea Newbert and John and Nancy Courville, all of Nobleboro. Baby Jonah’s great grandparents are Jean Thurston, Harold Moody, and Louise Newbert. Jonah weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 inches long.
