Deirdre J. Reilly and Matthew K. Lavoie were married on Aug. 17, by the Rev. David Ray, at the Old Walpole Meeting House, South Bristol. The ceremony was followed by a reception at The Bradley Inn, Pemaquid Point.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Karen Reilly of Hampden. Her grandparents were Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Reilly of Bristol. The groom is the son of Paul and Deborah Lavoie of Londonderry, New Hampshire.
Rebekka Brooks Istrail was matron of honor, and Bryan Lavoie, brother of the groom, was best man. Madeleine Reilly, niece of the bride, was flower girl, and Joshua Lavoie, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. Serving as ushers were Stephen Reilly and Brendan Reilly, brothers of the bride.
Reilly is a graduate of Hampden Academy, Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and Arizona State University with a master’s degree in communication disorders. She is a speech-language pathologist with Thom Charles River Early Intervention in Waltham, Massachusetts. Lavoie graduated from Londonderry High School and the University of New Hampshire, Durham, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a corporate actions analyst with Fidelity Investments in Boston.
After a honeymoon in Canada, the couple resides in Waltham, Mass.
