All Lincoln County roads are now open to traffic due to the hard work of first responders and road crews, according to Kimberly White-Kaiser, Deputy Director of the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (LCEMA ).
“At this hour, we are happy to announce that all roads are passable in Lincoln County; however we caution all citizens that barricades and running water should be considered a deterrent to driving through the danger,” White-Kaiser said.
Following are the current conditions on Lincoln County roads that have been affected by flooding.
Caution Still Required — Old Bath Road in Wiscasset, sides of pavement washing out.
Caution Still Required — Valley Road, Somerville Road, and Crummett Mountain Road are to be accessed by 4 x 4 vehicles only, because of mud that is covering the roads there. This is per the Fire Chief.

Reopened — Route 218 in Alna at the Rabbit Run Road (was down to one lane due to flooding).
Reopened — Old Ferry Road at the Wiscasset Airport entrance (was closed because of nearly 4 feet of water)
Reopened — Dickenson Road in Wiscasset (was closed due to mud covering the road and making travel difficult).
