After a lengthy search to fill the position, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has hired Wiscasset native Amy Sinclair, 39, as their new administrative assistant.
Sinclair, who is currently commuting from Port Clyde, began her duties at LCSO’s Wiscasset headquarters July 5.
“Amy comes to us with a lot of experience, particularly experience in a lawyer’s office,” Lincoln Sheriff Todd Brackett said at a July 5 meeting of the Lincoln County Commissioners. “We’re looking forward to having her on the team and working very closely with us.”
In an interview with The Lincoln County News July 8, Sinclair said she was excited to be aboard.
“This is a great opportunity and I’m looking forward to serving the county,” said Sinclair.
Sinclair is replacing longtime administrative assistant Becky Bartolotta who has been assisting in the transition, Brackett said.
