Hannah Jenkins MacKenzie and Andrew Paul LeBlanc were married on Sept 6 at Clark’s Cove Farm. The bride is the daughter of Richard and Emily MacKenzie of South Bristol. The groom is the son of Larry and Joanne LeBlanc of Abington, Mass.
Attendants at the wedding included the bride’s sisters. Margaret MacKenzie of Orlando, Fla. was maid of honor, and Jennifer Orcutt of Acton, Mass. was matron of honor. MacKenzie Orcutt, one of the bride’s nieces, served as junior bridesmaid, and nieces Cecelia and Eliza Orcutt were flower girls.
The groom’s brother, Derrick LeBlanc, served as best man. The groom’s brothers, Kevin and Ryan LeBlanc, were groomsmen. Ushers were Merrill and Christian Comeau, Jason Gross and William Leminen. Readers were Emily MacKenzie, Larry LeBlanc, Jaymie Genatossio and Adriane Comeau.
The Reverend Jeffrey Belcher officiated at the ceremony, which was held in the Clark’s Cove barn instead of outside as planned, due to the threat from Hurricane Hanna. Fortunately, the latter did not make an appearance until later in the evening.
On the Thursday before the wedding, some guests participated in a golf “tournament” at Wawenock. On Friday many of the out of town guests attended an open house at the MacKenzie’s home in South Bristol where they enjoyed a sail and some beachcombing. On Sunday, guests were invited to a brunch at the MacKenzie’s.
The bride has a degree in physical therapy assistance from Endicott College and a B.S. degree in exercise physiology from UMASS-Boston. The groom is a graduate of Massasoit Community College and currently attends UMASS-Boston where he is pursuing a degree in business. He serves as IT Manager for Rehabilitation Associates.
