Request for Bid • Lawn Mowing Services
You are invited to submit a bid for mowing services and related lawn care service for the Town of Alna.
Sealed Bids must be received in the Office of the Town Clerk by Wednesday, April 23, 2014 by 6.00 p.m. Bids sent via facsimile will not be accepted.
Lawn care service needs to be provided to five (5) Town Properties: The Town Office, The Center School, The Meeting House (including maintaining/weeding plantings in Veteran’s Memorial Bench Garden), The Fire Department, and The Village School at Puddle Dock. Mowing and trimming to be done for the months of May, June, July, August, September, and October.

The contract cannot begin until a proper Certificate of Insurance has been received and reviewed.

• Major Goals & strategies for the 2014-2024 period that responds to townspeople’s major themes.
• Major Implementation Measures by the Town, 2014-2024.
• Future Land Use Plan -for considering any zoning changes 2014-2024.
• Major capital improvement projects for the 2014-2024 period and how they are to be funded.
Q/A: Between citizens and the Committee on matters of interest to the citizens.
Conclusion: Understanding by the Committee of any changes the citizens may want in the 2014 Comprehensive Plan before the Town Meeting.
