Boothbay Harbor
REQUEST FOR QUOTE
PUBLIC WORKS STORAGE BUILDING
The Town of Boothbay Harbor seeks bids for the construction of a 120′ x 50′ building at the town owned Public Works property located at 144 Middle Road. The scope of the project includes all labor and material costs. This bid does not include removing the existing building or excavation. The timeframe for beginning construction is spring 2014.
The successful bidder will be required to show a minimum of one million ($1,000,000) dollars proof of comprehensive general liability insurance with the Town of Boothbay Harbor listed as additionally insured. Detailed bid specifi cations are available at the Town Offi ce. A site visit must be arranged with the Town Manager, Thomas Woodin at 207-633-3671 prior to submitting bids.
The town disclaims any and all responsibility for injury to proposers, their agents or others while examining the worksite or at any other time. The Boothbay Harbor Public Works Director or his designee will be the onsite project manager and contact for this project. Proposers are responsible for all of their costs in preparing and submitting proposals including local, state, fi re marshal, DEP approvals that may be applicable.
The town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals should it be deemed in the best interest of the town to do so. All proposals are to be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “Public Works storage building” to the Town Offi ce, 11 Howard Street, Boothbay Harbor, Maine 04538 on or before April 4, 2014. EOE

American Towers LLC is proposing to construct a 115′ monopole telecommunications tower at 491 Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, Lincoln County, Maine, tax parcel ID Lot 98 / MAP R-2. The new tower structure will be unlit and the tower facility will include a 100′ x 100′ lease area and associated easements, along with a 30ft buffer surrounding the lease area. American Towers LLC seeks comments from all interested persons on any potential significant impact the proposed action could have on the quality of the human environment pursuant to 47 C.F.R. Section 1.1307, including potential impacts to historic or cultural resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
