Public Hearing Notice
The Municipal Officers of the Town of Waldoboro will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 – 6:00 p.m. at the Waldoboro Municipal Building, 1600 Atlantic Highway regarding proposed increases to Shellfish Harvesting License fees.
The proposed fee increases include:
• Waldoboro Resident Recreational Shellfish Licenses – Increase from $10 to $25
• Waldoboro Non-Resident Recreational Shellfish Licenses – Increase from $20 to $50.
The increases are being considered by the Municipal Officers pursuant to a recommendation approved by the Waldoboro Shellfish Concervation Committee at its meeting of February 5, 2015.
All interested persons are invited to attend the Public Hearing and will be given the opportunity to be heard at that time.

The Town of Waldoboro invites qualified consultants to submit propos-als to assist the Town’s Comprehensive Plan Committee in preparing an update to the existing Comprehensive Plan. All qualified consulting firms, individual consultants, and planning organizations are welcome to apply.
Proposals should include qualifications of the candidate, with references and should be responsive to the information requested within the scope of services and contract requirements. Proposal should be delivered to the Waldoboro Municipal Building, clearly marked Comprehensive Plan Proposal no later than 4:30 P.M., Friday, March 13, 2015.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE
Please take notice that Lincoln Academy, 81 Academy Hill Rd, Newcastle, ME 04553, David Sturdevant, (207) 563-3195 ext. 100 is intending to file a Site Location of Development Act permit application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S.A. §§ 481 thru 490 on or about February 23, 2015.
The application is for the conversion of a grass athletic field to an artificial turf field. The access to the projects will be through the existing campus.
A request for a public hearing or a request that the Board of Environmental Protection assume jurisdiction over this application must be received by the Department in writing, no later than 20 days after the application is found by the Department to be complete and is accepted for processing. A public hearing may or may not be held at the discretion of the Commissioner or Board of Environmental Protection. Public comment on the application will be accepted throughout the processing of the application.
The application will be filed for public inspection at the Department of Environmental Protection’s office in Augusta during normal working hours. A copy of the application may also be seen at the municipal offices in Newcastle, Maine.
