BRISTOL 2014 SHELLFISH LICENSE SALES
On Thursday, January 2, 2014, during the Town Clerk’s regular office hours and for the following fourteen days, Commercial Shellfish Licenses will go on sale to those 2013 license holders who are grandfathered by virtue of their conservation work.
Any licenses remaining after 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014, will be issued by lottery drawing at that time. Those wishing to participate in the lot-tery may obtain applications during the Town Clerk’s regular office hours. The completed applications must be submitted to the Town Clerk by 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014.
Recreational Shellfish Licenses for the year 2014 will also be available begin-ning on January 2, 2014, and throughout the year.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Wiscasset, Maine will hold a public hearing and special open town meeting on January 14, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Wiscasset Community Center Gymnasium in Wiscasset, Maine. The public hearing will be for the purpose of receiving public comment on the proposed amendment of the development program for the Ferry Crossing-Rynel Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District (the ‘District”), pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 206 of Title 30-A of the Maine Revised Statutes, as amended.
The District consists of 13.96 acres of property at Lot 2 of the Ferry Crossing Subdivision identified as a portion of Wiscasset’s Tax Map R-8, Lot 6-2. The proposed amendment involves a credit enhancement agreement between the Town of Wiscasset and Rynel, Inc. A copy of the proposed First Amended and Restated Ferry Crossing-Rynel Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District Development Program will be on fi le with the Wiscasset Town Clerk in advance of the public hearing and can be reviewed at the Wiscasset Town Office during normal business hours.
