REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR MASONRY REPAIRS
FY2015 Walpole Cemetery Masonry Repairs Bid
The Town of Damariscotta is soliciting bids for the masonry repairs of the arch and adjoining walls located at the Walpole Cemetery on Bristol Road.
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The work consists of furnishing all materials and labor to grind and point the masonry arch and adjoining walls. The work shall be done in conformance with all historic preservation and rehabilitation methods and procedures for masonry repairs and in conjunction with the recommendations of the Gartley and Dorsky Engineering Evaluation.
INSTRUCTIONS: All bids must be submitted on the mandatory bid proposal form, in a sealed envelope, by 1:00 PM on September 29th, 2014 addressed to Matt Lutkus, Town Manager, Town of Damariscotta, 21 School, Damariscotta, Maine 04543, and then at said office publicly opened, and read aloud. The envelope containing the bid must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope as “FY2015 Masonry Repair Bid, Walpole Cemetery” with the envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder. Telegraphic, facsimile or electronic (e-mail) proposals or modifications to proposals will not be considered.
