Lincoln Academy’s golf team shot a team round of 160 to beat out Belfast (176), Waterville (182) and Leavitt (183) for the KVAC championship on Thur., Sept. 30 at Bath Country Club. Six players from each team competed, with the low four scores making up the team totals. Malcolm Oliver and Stephen Quinlan tied for low medalists with 39’s. Goran Johanson shot a 40, Seward Matel a 42, Jalen Lincoln a 46 and Alex Cosgrove a 47. With the win, the Eagles automatically qualify for the State Class B championship
