Lincoln Academy’s “Antigone” won the State Class B One-Act finals at Yarmouth High School March 24, facing off against seven other high school regional winners.
“Antigone” grabbed the top spot with a young, fresh cast and crew.
The win is particularly sweet after six years of winning Class B regional competitions, and coming in second at the finals; “four times coming second by only one point,” said proud director Griff Braley.
Festival rules allow for only a five-minute set-up, 40 minute play, followed by a five-minute breakdown.
Speaking on March 26, Braley said his able cast hit the mark with an incredible time of 39:39.
