The Lincoln County Courthouse in Wiscasset has a new Clerk of Courts; Kelly Cluff of Brunswick has been named Clerk of Courts after serving as acting Clerk of Courts for about six months.
Cluff has worked in the judicial system for about 10 years, serving as the Administrative Clerk in Bath prior to starting at the Lincoln County court a little under a year ago.
As Clerk of Courts she will oversee daily operations for both the District and Superior Courts.
“I’m just going to try to keep everything running smoothly,” Cluff said.
The rest of the staff at the Lincoln County court is excited for Cluff and looking forward to continuing to work with her, they said.
“We’re happy to have her,” said Assistant Clerk Lorie Merry. “She’s done a great job.”
