Lincoln County Democrats are holding their 2014 election year town caucuses Sunday, March 2 at four county locations.
Participants will meet candidates for Maine legislative seats and choose local party leaders, as well as delegates to the 2014 Democratic State Convention, to be held May 30 and 31 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
They also will have a chance to discuss local and national policy issues and prospective Democratic candidates Mike Michaud (Governor), Chellie Pingree (1st District Representative) and Shenna Bellows (U.S. Senate).

The caucus times at the four locations are: Great Salt Bay Community School (Damariscotta) at 2 p.m.; Waldoboro Town Office at 1:30 pm; Whitefield Fire Department at 3 p.m.; and Wiscasset Middle School at 1 p.m. Each caucus has a snow date of the following Sunday, March 9, same time and location.
Caucus conveners at each site will be accepting packaged food donations for distribution to local food banks, so attendees are asked to bring food items with them.
Voter registrar check-in will be available at all venues beginning a half-hour before start of the caucus. Participants are asked to arrive on time for check-in at each location. Both new and enrolled voters may register as Democrats.
