The Lincoln County News will host a forum with the five candidates for Wiscasset selectman at the municipal building from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 31.
All five candidates – Kim Andersson, Judy Colby, David Cherry, Jennifer Hanley, and Ben Rines – have agreed to participate. LCN Editor J.W. Oliver will moderate the forum.
Voters will elect three of the candidates for two-year terms on the Wiscasset Board of Selectmen on June 12.
“Wiscasset voters have many important issues to consider. This forum will give voters an opportunity to learn more about the candidates directly from the candidates themselves,” Oliver said.
The newspaper invites members of the audience to submit questions in advance to joliver@lcnme.com or to submit questions in writing to Oliver in person before the forum.
Refreshments will be available.
The LCN hopes to live-stream the event on the town’s YouTube channel and make the recording available after the meeting in the same place.

The Wiscasset municipal building is at 51 Bath Road, on the corner of Routes 1 and 27.
