Alna Republican Les Fossel has withdrawn his recount request in Senate District 13, effectively conceding the race to the incumbent, Somerville Democrat Sen. Chris Johnson.
The Associated Press reported the withdrawal Friday, Nov. 14, citing the Maine Department of the Secretary of State.
Unofficial results show Johnson defending his seat by a 339-vote margin in a race with 18,995 votes cast.
