May 26, Wayne W. Simmons, 70, of Waldoboro was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on East Pond Rd., Nobleboro, by Deputy Brian Collamore.
May 27, two 15-year-old male juveniles from Nobleboro were issued summonses for theft by authorized taking or transfer and criminal mischief, on East Pond Rd., Jefferson, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
May 27, Ronald A. Jones, 71, of Richmond was arrested by Det. Robert McFetridge, in Wiscasset, for stalking and unlawful sexual contact.
May 28, Andrew A. Douglass, 50, of Wiscasset was arrested for violating condition of release, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Detective Ronald Rollins.
May 28, Patrick E. O’Leary, 51, of Somerville, Mass. was arrested for operating under the influence, on U.S. Rt. 1, Nobleboro, by Sgt. Daniel Sceviour.
May 30, Jacob Walmer, 22, of Edgecomb was arrested on a warrant out of Washington state for failure to appear after bailed and fugitive from justice charges, on Gardiner Rd., Dresden, by Deputy Todd Chilton.

On May 29, an accident occurred on Eddy Rd. in Edgecomb involving Meghen Clancy, 51, of Brattleboro, Vt. Clancy was traveling north when an unknown vehicle traveling south went into her lane. Clancy went into the northbound ditch in order to avoid a collision. She was able to travel out of the ditch and stop at the causeway. Clancy’s 2008 Mazda utility vehicle sustained an estimated $6000 in damage. Deputy Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On May 31, an accident occurred on Hendricks Hill Rd. on Southport Island involving Gordon Tibbetts, 77, of Southport and an unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle drifted off the road and struck Tibbetts’ vehicle, which was parked in the front yard of a residence on Hendricks Hill Rd. The unknown vehicle pushed Tibbetts vehicle back approximately 20 feet and then backed up and left the scene, driving north. Tibbetts’ 1993 Ford sustained an estimated $3000 in damage.
On June 1, an accident occurred on McKay Rd. in Edgecomb involving Barry L. Hathorne, 62, of Edgecomb and William J. Gaten, 57, of Edgecomb. Hathorne was traveling north. Gaten was unable to see the Hathorne vehicle and pulled out of his driveway in front of Hathorne’s vehicle, causing a collision. Hathorne’s 2003 Moto Guzzi motorcycle sustained an estimated $3000 in damage and Gaten’s 2007 Ford pickup sustained an estimated $50 in damage. Deputy Henry Grenier was the investigating officer.
On June 1, an accident occurred on Rt. 1 in Newcastle involving Edward V. Kirkland, 65, of Damariscotta and Samantha Carroll, 22, of Boothbay. Kirkland was slowing in traffic. Carroll became distracted and did not see Kirkland slowing and struck the rear of his vehicle. Kirkland’s 1994 GMC pickup truck sustained an estimated $25 in damage and Carroll’s 2006 Chevrolet sustained an estimated $3000 in damage. Deputy Henry Grenier was the investigating officer.
