Aug. 25, Arthur G. Carey, III, 35, of Palermo was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Rt. 1, Newcastle, by Lt. Rand Maker.
Aug. 25, Troy D. Penniman, 18, of New Harbor was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Bristol Rd., Bristol, by Deputy Matthew Day.
Aug. 27, Jonathan B. Lowell, 18, of Edgecomb was issued a summons for furnishing a place for minors to consume/possess liquor, on School St., Boothbay, by Sgt. Jason Nein.
Aug. 29, Katie M. Worthley, 18, of Boothbay was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Back River Rd., Boothbay, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
Aug. 29, Joseph A. Robinson, 34, of Damariscotta was issued three summonses by Deputy Matthew Day for driving to endanger; unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, after a traffic accident which occurred on Main Rd., Westport Island.
Sept. 1, Anthony C. Pinkham, 44, of Boothbay was arrested on six warrants for failure to appear, on Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

On Aug. 25, an accident occurred on East Pond Rd. in Nobleboro involving Donna L. Murphy, 52, of Jefferson. Murphy was traveling northbound when a deer entered the travel lane from a wooded area and was struck. Murphy’s 2006 Ford sustained an estimated $5000 in damage. Sgt. Daniel Sceviour was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 28, an accident occurred on Boothbay Rd. in Edgecomb involving Doris Dumont-Constant, 56, of Center Harbor, N.H. and Jonathan B. Geear, 41, of Hampton, N.Y. Dumont-Constant was traveling northbound and was stopped, attempting to enter east on the Eddy Rd. Geear was traveling northbound as well, and failed to observe Dumont-Constant stopped in the roadway. As a result, Geear struck the Dumont-Constant vehicle. Dumont-Constant’s 2008 Buick sustained an estimated $1000 in damage and Geear’s 1998 Plymouth van sustained an estimated $250 in damage. Lt. Rand Maker was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 28, an accident occurred on Kieve Landing in Bremen involving Summer-Marie Hallowell, 27, of Damariscotta and Forrest P. Mehlhorn, 22, of Nobleboro. Hallowell was traveling north on the private roadway and Mehlhorn was traveling south. As both vehicles met at a corner, Mehlhorn, who was operating at an unsafe speed for this road, struck Hallowell’s vehicle, who had stopped and pulled into the ditch in an attempt to avoid the accident. Hallowell’s 2006 Ford utility vehicle sustained an estimated $3000 in damage and Mehlhorn’s 1999 Dodge van sustained an estimated $1000 in damage. Lt. Rand Maker was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 28, an accident occurred on Main Rd. on Westport Island involving Joseph A. Robinson, 34, of Damariscotta and Robin C. McConaughy, 40, of Hopewell, N.J. Mr. Robinson was traveling northbound when he lost control and crossed the center line, striking the left rear of McConaughy’s vehicle. Mr. Robinson then slid down the roadway, coming to rest in a ditch. Ms. McConaughy lost control of her vehicle after the impact, traveling into the soft shoulder, then crossing back across the roadway, striking a tree. Mr. Robinson’s 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle sustained an estimated $5000 in damage and Ms. McConaughy’s 2007 Ford utility vehicle sustained an estimated $7500 in damage. Deputy Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 29, an accident occurred on Country Club Rd. in Boothbay involving Scott Giles, 53, of Boothbay and Paul Noah, 36, of Boothbay. Giles was traveling east and Noah was backing out into the roadway and was struck by the Giles vehicle. Giles 1999 Ford station wagon sustained an estimated $2000 in damage and Noah’s 2000 Pontiac sustained an estimated $2000 in damage. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 30, an accident occurred on Rt. 1 in Nobleboro involving Robert L. Goodrich, 74, of Damariscotta. Goodrich was traveling southbound and due to an apparent medical condition, he struck a street sign located on a traffic island at the intersection of East Pond Rd. and Rt. 1. Goodrich’s 2005 Dodge van sustained an estimated $3500 in damage. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
