Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Nov. 24, Deputy Peter Kenyon took a report of a burglary in the Dresden area. The complainant stated that when she arrived home at 3 p.m., she discovered someone had entered her home and took a jewelry box with approximately $1500 dollars worth of jewelry in it. Further investigation will follow as leads develop.
Nov. 24, Sgt. Daniel Sceviour and Lt. Michael Murphy investigated a report of a burglary in the South Bristol area. The complainant stated that sometime between 4 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, unknown person(s) gained entry to his residence and took multiple items. Some items included antique firearms and home electronics. Further investigation to follow.
Nov. 24, Det. Sgt. Kenneth Hatch investigated a report of a burglary in the Bristol area. The complainant stated that her home was entered and multiple items were taken. Hatch is awaiting a list of items stolen and further investigation to follow.
Nov. 25, Deputy Peter Kenyon took a report of a theft of a 1997 Ford F250 pickup truck in the Bristol area. The complainant stated that the company truck was taken sometime after 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 24. The truck is commonly driven by all employees and is described as green and silver in color, with a portable, white in color, diesel fuel tank in the bed. The approximate value is $7500 dollars.

Nov. 29, Laura Cook, 61, of New Harbor, failure to show proof of insurance, Rt. 130, Bristol, Dep. Justin Drake.
On Nov. 27, an accident occurred on Middle Rd. in Dresden involving Amber R. Toothaker, 22, of Richmond. Toothaker was traveling too fast for the road conditions and attempted to avoid a deer. As a result, her vehicle began skidding, spun 360 degrees, traveled off the road and struck a tree. Toothaker’s 2007 Chevrolet sustained an estimated $5500 in damage. Deputy Peter Kenyon was the investigating officer.
