Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On May 10, Deputy Matthew Day took a report of a theft in the Nobleboro area. The complainant stated that sometime since Oct. 2009, someone stole his 100 lb. Amerigas propane tank from the side of his cottage. The approximate replacement value is $350. At this time, there are no suspects.
May 6, Casey J. Okane, 53, of Georgetown was arrested for violating condition of release, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Sgt. Aaron Mortensen.
May 8, John F. Dalton, 20, of Boothbay was arrested for violating condition of release, on Samoset Trail, Boothbay, by Deputy Justin Drake.
May 10, Anna Belle Bieler, 46, of Bath was arrested on a warrant out of Waldo County on charges of failure to appear after bail, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset, by Det. Robert McFetridge.
On May 5, an accident occurred on Shore Road in Bremen involving Shirley Conley, 86, of Bremen. Conley was traveling east when she lost control of her vehicle and as a result, she traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Conley’s 1997 Subaru station wagon sustained an estimated $3800 in damage. Deputy Peter Kenyon was the investigating officer.
On May 7, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Helena E. Biggins, 60, of Edgecomb. Biggins was traveling north when a deer ran out and was struck. Biggins’ 1994 Datsun/Nissan sustained an estimated $2000 in damage. Deputy Todd Chilton was the investigating officer.
