Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Sept. 28, Robert A. Young, 42, of Sandown, N.H. was issued a summons for operating after license suspension, on Bunker Hill Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Brian Collamore.
Sept. 30, Michael J. Chase, 41, of Newcastle was issued a summons for failing to register or update information – two plus priors, at the Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Det. Ronald Rollins.
Sept. 30, Brandon S. Nelson, 25, of Wiscasset was arrested for aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and violating condition of release, on Eddy Road, Edgecomb, by Det. Ronald Rollins, Lt. Rand Maker and Major Ken Mason.
Oct. 3, Talbot W. Campbell Jr., 30, of Alna was arrested for operating under the influence, on Academy Hill Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Justin Drake.
Oct. 4, Albert C. Loyola, 31, of Edgecomb was arrested for domestic violence assault – priors, on Rt. 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
On Sept. 28, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Jennifer A. Lacrosse, 37, of Jefferson and Robert A. Young, 42, of Sandown, N.H. Young was traveling westbound, attempting to make a left turn. Lacrosse was also traveling westbound and did not realize Young was making a left turn. As a result, she struck his vehicle in the left front wheel area. Lacrosse’s 1998 Lincoln sustained an estimated $300 in damage and Young’s 1986 Ford 3 axle truck sustained an estimated $1500 in damage. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 30, an accident occurred on Hendricks Hill Road on Southport Island involving Sarah A. Sherman, 40, of Southport. Sherman was traveling north when two deer crossed the roadway, traveling east. Ms. Sherman struck one of the deer in the northbound lane. Sherman’s 2005 Chevrolet utility vehicle sustained an estimated $3000 in damage. Lt. Rand Maker was the investigating officer.
