Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On June 26, Sgt. Jason Nein received a complaint of theft on Waldoboro Road in Bremen. The complainant stated that prescription medication was stolen; and the case is under investigation and has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division.
On June 26, Sgt. Jason Nein received a complaint of theft in Boothbay, of gold coins, miscellaneous coins, and rare bills. The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
On June 26, Dep. Chad Gilbert received a complaint of possible identify theft on in Boothbay, having received calls from financial institution about social security number and unknown accounts. The incident is on record at the LCSO.
On June 27, Dep. Brian Collamore received a complaint of theft in Bristol of a wood splitter, value: $600. Further investigation underway.
On June 27, Dep. Brian Collamore received a complaint of theft in Bristol of a 15 HP Evinrude Outboard Motor, value: $400. Further investigation underway; and report forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division.
On June 28, Dep. Chad Gilbert received a complaint of criminal mischief in Edgecomb of damaged mailboxes. Further investigation underway.
On July 2, Deputy Chad Gilbert received a complaint of criminal mischief in Jefferson of overnight mailbox damage. Further investigation underway.
