Recent traffic citationsMarch 25, Samuel Hewson, 22, of Waldoboro, speeding, 58 mph in a posted 35 mph speed zone, Genthner Rd., Waldoboro, Dep. Brian Collamore.

March 28, Kurt Brackett, 24, of Newcastle, displaying an expired inspection sticker, Rt. 27, Boothbay, Sgt. Jason Nein.

March 28, Audry Johnston, 41, of Augusta, operating an unregistered vehicle, Rt. 27, Dresden, Dep. Kevin Dennison.

March 28, Michael Poissonnier, 27, of Wiscasset, displaying an expired inspection sticker, Main St., Wiscasset, Sgt. Jason Nein.

March 29, Meghan Kennedy, 29, of New Harbor, speeding, 35 mph in a posted 15 mph school zone, Rt. 130, Bristol, Dep. Kevin Dennison.

Recent accidentsOn March 26, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Marie A. Lombardo, 26, of Edgecomb. Lombardo was operating her 2012 Ford Escape southbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck, causing front end damage to her vehicle. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.

On March 29, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Gregory H. Wright, 61, of Boothbay. Wright was operating his 2007 Mercedes-Benz ML350 northbound and as he was proceeding forward, a deer entered the travel lane from a field area and was struck. Sgt. Daniel Sceviour was the investigating officer.
