Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On May 28, Deputy Kenneth Hatch was dispatched to a report of a theft of two red Adirondack chairs and several antique lobster buoys from a property in New Harbor. Further investigation to follow.
On May 29, Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was dispatched to a report of a theft of two mushroom anchors and approximately 40 feet of 1/2 inch chain (value: approximately $500) from the Newcastle area. Further investigation to follow.
On June 1, Deputy Chubbuck was dispatched to a report of criminal mischief to a mailbox in the Jefferson area. After arriving at the scene, it was discovered three mailboxes had been knocked off their post and one mailbox appeared missing. Further investigation to follow if leads develop.
On June 2, Deputy Chubbuck was dispatched to a report of criminal mischief to a telephone box at a residence in the Whitefield area. The complainant stated that this occurred sometime after midnight the previous night. Further investigation to follow if leads develop.
On June 2, Deputy Chubbuck was dispatched to a report of criminal mischief to a storage shed in the Southport area. It appears someone(s) damaged the door, but it does not appear anything was taken. Further investigation to follow.
May 30, Glenn A. Barbour, 52, of Waldoboro was issued a summons for operating vehicle with expired license (over 90 days), on Route 1, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.
May 31, Jason B. Simmons, 40, of Dresden was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Det. Robert McFetridge.

May 27, Edward M. Lewis Jr., 48, of Pemaquid was arrested on a Marine Patrol/Warden Service warrant for failure to pay fine, on Bradley Hill Road, Pemaquid, by Sgt. Jason Nein.
May 27, Dakota R. Reed, 21, of Bristol was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge, on Bradley Hill Road, Bristol, by Deputy Chubbuck, who was assisted by Sgt. Nein.
May 28, Tyson A. Churchill, 25, of Somerville was arrested for unlawful possession of scheduled drug and for a probation violation, on Valley Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Jared Mitkus, who was assisted by Deputy Aaron Beck.
May 28, Steven D. Crosby, 24, of Jefferson was arrested for unlawful possession of scheduled drug and operating after suspension, on Valley Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Mitkus, who was assisted by Deputy Beck.
May 29, Benjamin H. Pendleton, 30, of Newcastle was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge, on Hall Street, Newcastle, by Deputy Justin Drake. Pendleton was also issued a summons for operating after suspension.
June 1, Kaitlyn N. Fernandez, 21, of Bristol was arrested for domestic violence assault and violating condition of release, on Bristol Mews Road, Bristol, by Deputy Mitkus.
June 2, Edward B. Marr, 24, of Jefferson was arrested on two Kennebec County warrants for failure to pay fines, on Washington Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.
On June 2, an accident occurred on Back River Road in Boothbay involving Amanda L. Andrews, 29, of Boothbay. Andrews was operating her 2007 Subaru southbound when she took attention away from driving to speak with her child seated behind her. As a result, her vehicle entered the southbound shoulder where it struck a tree. Her vehicle then re-entered the roadway and Andrews was able to bring her vehicle to a stop. Sgt. Nein was the investigating officer.
On June 3, an accident occurred on Crooker Road in Boothbay involving Dorothy E. Freeman, 60, of Augusta. Freeman was operating her 2007 Toyota Corolla westbound when her vehicle got caught up in a grass/ditch area and collided with a tree. Deputy Mitkus was the investigating officer.
