Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
April 6, Marcus A. Golding, 48, of Damariscotta, was issued a summons for passing stopped school bus, on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
April 6, Megan Fitzpatrick, 36, of Bristol, was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward.
April 2, a 14-year-old female from Jefferson was arrested by Deputy Bridgham for violating condition of release and transported to Long Creek Detention Facility in South Portland.
April 2, Ronald J. Brann, 65, of Damariscotta, was arrested for three counts each of unlawful sexual contact and unlawful sexual touching, on Blue Haven Lane, Damariscotta, by Detective Scott Hayden.
April 3, Kevin M. Swift, 45, of Whitefield, was arrested on two Wiscasset District Court warrants for failure to pay and failure to appear – contempt hearing, on Hilton Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Joel Seekins.
April 7, Katherine M. L. Manchester, 28, of Belfast, was arrested on a Knox County Superior Court warrant for violation of bail conditions, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Daniel Sceviour.
On April 2, an accident occurred on Townhouse Road in Whitefield involving Arthur J. LaChance, 66, of Pittston. LaChance was operating his 2010 Toyota Scion northbound when he was unable to avoid a deer in the roadway. Detective Mitkus was the investigating officer.
On April 3, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving John F. Rasmussen, 65, of Friendship, and Rebecca Riser, 27, of Edgecomb. Riser was stopped at the intersection on the southbound on-ramp in her 2000 Nissan Altima and Rasmussen was behind Riser in his 2010 Ford F-150. Rasmussen thought Riser had started forward and struck the rear of her vehicle. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
On April 3, an accident occurred on Hunts Meadow Road in Whitefield involving Danielle C. Barry, 30, of Farmingdale. Barry was operating her 2011 Toyota Corolla southbound when a deer ran out in front of her vehicle and was struck. Deputy Seekins was the investigating officer.
On April 4, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Alexa M. Oliver, 26, of Damariscotta. Oliver was operating her 2003 Dodge Durango southbound when she stated she blacked out, and as a result, she lost control of her vehicle and hit the guardrail. Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner was the investigating officer.
On April 6, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Jefferson involving Jason B. Perkins, 30, of Jefferson. Perkins was operating his 2001 Subaru Forester southbound when a deer ran in front of his vehicle and was struck. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
