For those in need of some important item so desperately that they are willing to brave forecast blizzard conditions for it, Lincoln County supermarkets will be awaiting with open doors. According to a survey taken Saturday at 6 p.m. of on duty managers at the Hannaford stores in Waldoboro and Damariscotta, and the Shaw’s in Wiscasset, all three stores presently plan on maintaining regular hours during the blizzard conditions forecast for Sunday.
Those hours may be subject to change based on management decisions during the day on Sunday, or if the store is affected by a power outage or other incident.
Regular hours for Sunday at the Waldoboro Hannaford are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Regular hours for Sunday at the Damariscotta Hannaford are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Regular hours for Sunday at the Wiscasset Shaw’s are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
