For the second year in a row, The Lincoln Home was chosen as the winner of the Best Bedazzled Contest for local businesses in Damariscotta and Newcastle. Part of the seventh annual Wrap It Up event, sponsored by the Twin Villages Association, this is the second year for the Best Bedazzled Contest in categories for homes and businesses.
The winners are decided by people who take trolley rides around the area in December, and vote for the most dazzling home or business. The Wrap-It-Up Event includes a variety of venues and offerings which include singers, instrumental performances, candy in the street and carolers each year.
The Lincoln Home is grateful to Facilities Director Kevin Benner and the home’s maintenance crew for an outstanding display, both this year and in 2012.
