Mrs. Deborah Ortega of West Milford, N.J., Mr. David Lokai of Parsippany, N.J. and Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Diane Magnussen of South Bristol are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Anna Lokai to William Magnussen.
Anna and Bill first met while attending St. Joseph’s Elementary School in West Milford, N.J. They reconnected several years later after Bill and his family moved to South Bristol, and began a long distance relationship, which has continued to date.
Anna is a 2003 graduate of West Milford High School and a 2010 graduate of Montclair State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. She is currently a bridal consultant in Wayne, N.J. where she has worked for the past seven years.
Bill is a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Academy and a 2009 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology. He currently works as an Assistant Engineer aboard a vessel for the shipping company OSG in the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia area.
The two will be married at St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle. A wedding is planned for early fall 2011.
