The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency has been monitoring the flooding situation from last evening. As of 3 p.m., several roads are partially washed out but remain passable.
Lincoln County is also experiencing several full road closures as follows:
McKay Road in Edgecomb is down to one lane.
Mt. Hunger West Road in Edgecomb is closed.
River Road at Salt Cove Road intersection is down to one lane.
Lewis Hill Road in Newcastle is impassible due to ice jams in culverts. Crews on scene now.
Route 127 at Hatch’s Hallow in Dresden is down to one lane.
Turner Road in Bremen is down to one lane.
Old County Road in Waldoboro has a wash out. The road is passable. Crews have been on scene all day.
Kayler’s Corner Road in Waldoboro is down to one lane.
Split Rock Road in South Bristol is closed.
West Alna Road in Alna is down to one lane.
Please remember that driving though barricades and streams of water is dangerous, even what may appear to be a small amount of water has a swift current during flooding.
