Joseph and Roanne Fortin, Bristol, are very pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Gregory Benjamin Fortin, to Lauren Christine Marchand, both of Franklin, Mass. Marchand is the daughter of Henry and Anne Marchand, Torrington, Conn.
Fortin is a 2007 graduate of Lincoln Academy, Newcastle and a 2011 graduate of The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I. Fortin has a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance and is employed by EMC 2, Franklin, Mass., as a senior project/program coordinator. He is the grandson of Robert and Marion Becker, Brunswick, and Roger and Frederica Fortin (deceased), Hudson, Mass.
Marchand is a 2007 graduate of Torrington High School, Torrington, Conn. and a 2013 graduate from The University of Rhode Island. Marchand has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a doctorate in physical therapy. She is employed by Franklin Physical Therapy, Franklin, Mass. She is the granddaughter of John and Helen Nonelli (deceased) and Francis and Mary Marchand (deceased), both of Connecticut.
The wedding will take place in May 2015 in Simsbury, Conn.
