On Oct. 24, The Lighthouse Lobster Shack at the Heritage Village on Rt. 1 (Old Bath Road) helped sponsor a spaghetti dinner for the 4H Club. Children, parents, and supervisors totaling 100 were in attendance. The spaghetti dinner was provided by Mark Antony’s Italian Cuisine on 65 Gardiner Rd. Wiscasset. Gayle Simonetti, one of the owners, was there with her daughter Morgen to serve the food.
Mark Antony’s has been serving fine Italian food and Sicilian style pizza in the Wiscasset area for more than six years, and is ready to take on another project.
“This will be a bit different from the style that we provide at Mark Antony’s,” Gayle said. “We are happy to announce that we are now in charge of the Lighthouse Lobster Shack and will provide a menu that you would expect from a coastal Lobster House.”
The menu includes steamed lobsters, clams, mussels, grilled burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fried clams and French fries. They will also feature their award winning seafood chowder. Fresh lobsters will also be sold live and shipped to whatever desired destination.
“This will be a place you will want to bring your family and friends to,” Gayle said. “The prices will be very affordable.”
While the grand opening will not be until around April 2010 there will be some upcoming events that all will be invited to attend.
