Roberta “Robin” Mayer is running for the Damariscotta Board of Selectmen as a write-in candidate.
Mayer, a self-employed marketing and communications consultant and a volunteer with a variety of civic organizations, might be best known to residents as the former chairwoman of the Damariscotta Planning and Advisory Committee.
Mayer is the only candidate for the board at this time. The seat currently belongs to Selectman Dave Wilbur, who has said he will not seek re-election after six years on the board.
The polls will be open at the Damariscotta Municipal Building Tues., June 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
