Jeffery and Sherry McCormick of Union are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lacey, to Jacob Rollins, son of Greg and Trina Rollins of West Rockport.
Lacey is Medomak Valley High School graduate, and Jacob is a graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School in West Rockport.
The bride and groom were surrounded by friends and family as they exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony at Val Halla Golf Club in Cumberland on Aug. 7, 2010.
Mike Poli, of Waldoboro, officiated the ceremony.
The bride’s sister, Briana McCormick, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Claire Rollins, Amanda Boetsch, Ashlee Giroux, McKenzie O’Brien, Sarah Maxcy, and junior bridesmaid was Lily McCormick, sister of the bride.
The groom’s brother, Levi Rollins, was best man. Groomsmen were Nathaniel Boehmer, John Marriner, Andrew Pratt, John Fisher, Chris Remsen and junior groomsman was Evan McCormick, brother of the bride.
The bride wore an ivory gown that was covered in delicate beaded lace with champagne accents. The groom wore a khaki tuxedo and an ivory satin tie and vest. All attire was purchased at Midcoast Weddings & Special Events of West Rockport.
Flowers were arranged by Raymond Village Florist, and the reception Val Halla Golf club ballroom, with catering and planning provided by Blue Elephant Catering of Saco.
Reception music was provided by DJ Dave Winsor of Gorham. Photographers were Rachel and Forest Bell of Rachel Bell Photography out of Portland.
The bride and groom would especially like to thank Pamela Burgess, of Warren, for creating their gorgeous and delicious wedding cake.
Lacey received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at the University of Maine at Farmington, and she is a first grade teacher in the Oxford Hills School Dept.
Jacob received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the UMaine, Orono, and is a manufacturing project leader at Lanco Assembly Systems in Westbrook.
The couple honeymooned on a Western Caribbean cruise to Mexico, Cayman Islands, and Jamaica, and reside in Raymond.
