The Maine Dept. of Transportation announced it has scheduled almost a dozen maintenance-paving projects in Lincoln County this summer.
The state will pave almost 40 miles of road around Lincoln County, said Mark Latti, DOT Public Information Officer.
The projects scheduled at this point are: 5.2 miles of Biscay Road in Bremen and Damariscotta; three miles of Turner Road in Bremen; .9 miles of School Street in Damariscotta; 1.6 miles of Eddy Road in Edgecomb; 2.5 miles of Rt. 215 in Jefferson; 9.4 miles of Rt. 213 in Jefferson and Newcastle; 7.1 miles of East Pond Road in Jefferson and Nobleboro; 5.7 miles of Turner Ridge Road in Palermo and Somerville; 10.1 miles of Rt. 220 Waldoboro and Washington; and 3.8 miles of Cooper Road in Whitefield.
The DOT does not know at this time when the projects will get underway, Latti said.
“With these maintenance-paving projects, each one should only take about 24 to 48 hours,” Latti said.
