Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team will take on Gardiner tomorrow, Feb. 11 for the KVAC championship trophy. The game at Cony High School in Augusta is at 7 p.m.
KVAC awards will be presented after the girls’ championship game and before the boys’.
Medomak boys’ players will receive numerous awards: Isaac Greenrose was named to the KVAC First Team; John Murray and Alex Greenrose to the KVAC Second Team; Ryan Ripley, and Lincoln Academy’s Jalen Lincoln and Ryley Leavitt to the KVAC Honorable Mention.
Medomak coach Nick DePatsy has been named KVAC 2011-12 boys’ Coach of the Year. This is his sixth conference Coach of the Year award, and he also has four State Coach of the Year awards.
