A Rockland man is charged with murder in connection with the death of a Friendship woman, Katrina Windred, 47, found alongside a dirt road in Rockland Nov. 27.
Police charged Arnold Diana, 35 with the murder of Windred, his former girlfriend, after he was interviewed at the Rockland police station Nov. 28. Diana was transported to the Knox County Jail and is scheduled to make his first court appearance today in a Rockland courtroom
A man walking his dog discovered Windred’s body along the Thompson Meadow Road. Windred’s friends reported her missing Nov. 21.
Though an autopsy was completed Nov. 29, police are not releasing Windred’s cause of death.
