Following an extensive ground search Tuesday morning, an 83-year-old Nobleboro man was found around noon approximately 600 feet from his Back Meadow Road residence.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Fernald Cunningham was reported missing from his home around 8 a.m. June 14. Cunningham’s son reported him missing, having last talked with him around 6 p.m. June 13.
Cunningham has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and noticeably shakes. He is also in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
Cunningham was found by the Maine Warden Service K-9 team. He was conscious and has been transported to Miles Memorial Hospital for treatment.
