Maine Modular and Manufactured Homes in Waldoboro is going to have an open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 17, 18, and 19 as part of a special offer of free land with the purchase of a home.
Homes co-owner Karl Pitcher said the response from greater public has been positive.
“We’ve had quite a few people come in,” Pitcher said, adding that one client signed a new home contract. “We’re very pleased with their decision.”
Pitcher said his client chose a colonial model, similar to the blue home the business has prominently on display at its Rt. 1 location.
The package is a complete home, from foundation to finish work. It includes plumbing, heating, a foundation, well and septic system. The least expensive, three-bedroom home runs for less than $130,000, and now includes a land lot.
Representatives from KBS Building Systems, the home’s manufacturing company, and mortgage consultants will be present at the open house to further discuss options for potential homebuyers.
They will host the open house at the modular home business at the bottom of the hill on Rt. 1 in Waldoboro.
