Power has been returned to most Lincoln County households, although scattered outages are still affecting customers in 4 towns at the time of this posting, according to Central Maine Power (CMP).
Those towns are: Bristol, Nobleboro, Jefferson and South Bristol. Most of the affected homes are on small roads. South Bristol has the most roads without power.
Repair crews from CMP are continuing efforts to bring customers back on line.
On Sunday at 1:04 p.m. there were 16 Lincoln County towns with power outages and 2600 individual households without power in the county, according to CMP. Lincoln County was second in the state for highest number of outages, behind Cumberland County with 3900, according to CMP.
Statewide, there were 10,083 power outages as of 12:45 p.m. Sunday; which was a marked improvement over the 14,250 outages reported at 9 a.m., according to CMP.
