The Medomak Valley High School Chorus will be performing a solo and small ensemble concert on Tuesday, April 15 at 7 p.m., in the MVHS cafeteria.
This concert will be cafe-style seating, and refreshments will be for sale. The event is a fundraiser which will help supply the final amount needed to fund group excursion to Maine State Music Theater on June 13 to see “The Buddy Holly Story.”
The students have chosen a movie theme this year, and researched into some favorite films to find their songs.
Concert songs include: “May It Be” from “Lord of the Rings;” “Let It Go” from “Frozen;” “A Little Priest” from “Sweeney Todd;” “Cups” from “Pitch Perfect;” and “Stay Alive” from “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.”
The entire chorus will also be singing a couple numbers, and the girls will get together for a version of “The Rose” from the movie of the same name.
