On New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, enjoy an open mic for musicians and the public at Savory Maine Organic Restaurant, 11 Water St., in Damariscotta, from noon to 3 p.m. with a sign up for performers at noon.
Refreshments will be provided by Savory Maine. Donations are appreciated. For more information, contact Sylvia Tavares at 766-8469. This event is being organized by several local musicians in lieu of Peaceful Beginnings which is not being held this year.
