Newcastle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram President Randall Miller announced a building expansion project Oct. 17.
Local general contractor Zander Lee, of Steel Bolt Construction, and local subcontractors will build a 40- by-40-foot steel building to house the dealership’s reconditioning department and auto alignment machine, Miller said.
“The expansion will also give the company three additional service bays in their original building to ensure even more timely service appointments and expanded auto detailing services,” Miller said.
“Our customer base has grown so much in the past five years that some sort of expansion has been on our radar for a while,” Miller said. “We service all of Lincoln county’s EMS and patrol cars, and we need more space for those fleets.”
“The groundbreaking was four weeks ago, and the project will be finished by the second week of November,” Miller said.
“Funded by The First N.A., this expansion will provide the capability to better service Newcastle Chrysler customers,” Miller said.
The dealership plans an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony with dates to be announced.
