The 10th Annual Chocolate Fest and Silent Auction to benefit Healthy Kids! will go on as planned Sat., Feb. 5 regardless of the weather forecast, which is presently highly variable. Evening hours may bring some snowfall or rain, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The Chocolate Fest runs from 7-9 p.m. at the Lincoln Home in Newcastle. Guests may mingle and bid on beautiful silent auction items while enjoying fine chocolate, savory hors d’oeuvres, bubbling champagne, and live music by international pianist Bernie Watson.
Midcoast Maine’s finest restaurants, bakeries, and chocolatiers will create a range of decadent chocolate desserts to suit all tastes, including handmade artisan truffles from Black Dinah Chocolatiers of Isle au Haut. The Damariscotta River Grill will cater with hors d’oeuvres.
